Joseph cultivated his experience in corporate social responsibility and environmental social governance at one of the largest facilities management companies in Africa. His portfolio included CSR management and business development where he was responsible for formulating the group's CSR strategy, policy, and reporting structures across 16 of the group's offices. He managed and executed multiple CSR projects in the mining, oil & gas, government, and infrastructure sectors in seven African countries.

Lesego's passion for socio-economic development was realized when she was selected as a TEACH SA ambassador, working to improve the quality of education for children in South Africa irrespective of their socio-economic background. This is where she first came across period poverty and took her first step towards eradicating it. She later joined a marketing agency based in KZN as a strategic brand manager where she developed PR and marketing strategies. She holds an honours degree in strategic communications.
